On Thursday December 8th, 2022 at 6:30 pm at St. Michael and All Angels Church congregants from the Three Rivers Ministry, which include St.John the Divine, Quesnel,
Grace Anglican  and St Michaels, Prince George, came together to witness Wendy McRae as she was ordained a Deacon . The Presider was Bishop Jane Alexander who traveled up
from Kamloops along with The Very Reverend Dr. Kyle Norman, Dean of St Paul’s, Kamloops, Rev Joanne Hinter,100 Mile House,  The Rev. Angus Muir, Lytton, Rev. Linda LaGroix, Ashcroft and The Vicar of Woodpecker Alexis Saunders . The Rev Peter Zimmer - interim minister in both  Prince George parishes was also in attendance.
Lay ministers from The Three Rivers Ministry also participated in the ordination. Val Stanley was the pianist and several members of Wendy’s family including her husband were there to bear witness. We gathered to be a support to Wendy on her journey and celebrated afterwards in the hall with food and light refreshments brought by all the Three Parishes in King Hall.

Bishop Jane Alexander also acknowledge the generous financial donation that St John the Divine gave to St Michael and All Angels towards the repair of their Roof. She asked those in attendance from that Parish to stand to be thanked for their generosity. Truly this was a great gift to St Michael and All Angels but ultimately a gift for all to benefit from in the Three Rivers Ministry.
