Great turnout for Safe Church Training in the South Rivers Deanery

Twenty-two participants from St. Marys - St. Andrews, Lillooet, St. Albans - Ashcroft, St. Michaels - Merritt, and St. Georges - Kamloops participated in the Safe Church training workshop held on Saturday, Sept 17th in Lillooet.

This training is mandatory for clergy, churchwardens, youth leaders, and Sunday School staff. The new and improved curriculum was taught by The Rev. Isabel Healy-Morrow, The Rev Danny Whitehead, and Linda LaGroix, Lay Minister of Word and Sacrament.

The next Safe Church training for the Deaner will be held in the fall of 2017 at St. Pauls Cathedral in Kamloops.
