The election of the second Bishop for the Territory of the People will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Kamloops. Delegates elected at their parish Annual Vestry Meeting (AVM) in 2022 as Assembly Delegates will continue to serve as delegates until the Election of the Bishop has taken place. Delegates will be invited to gather for the weekend beginning on Friday, March 31st and ending on Sunday, April 2, 2023. More information will be shared.
Members of the Territory, Parishes and Electoral Assembly Delegates were sent information on January 11, 2023 with the Call for Nominations which has been issued by the Electoral Committee.
In accordance with Territory Policy (1.11: Nominating and Electoral Procedure for the Election of a Bishop for the Territory of the People Anglican Church) the Electoral Committee issues this call for nominations.
