After much work on the fence at All Saints Shulus, it was painted earlier this year by members of the Shulus Equine youth group, it is just the perfect place for Christmas lights.

We also have a new sign at the end of the church, which was painted by Leonard George, a local artist from Coldwater Reserve. The fellow holding the ladder is Dwayne Blankenship from the Lower Nicola Indian Band maintenance department, and he was instrumental in helping me put up the sign.

The sign was paid for by a donation from David Anderson, Marlena's father. David and I both think there's room for more paintings on the wall. Some members of the community see the church as a dark and foreboding place as they drive by. We hope to brighten that impression.
