We have a marvellous person, Margo Mandy, who though absolutely up to her eyeballs in giving and marking University Exams, finds the time to direct the annual Christmas Pageant in our Parish of St.Michael's. We are so so grateful that she does.

This year's twist on the ancient story is about a certain "Star" that just doesn't know what her job is. She seems to interfere with other people's jobs - ie the Angel Gabriel who announces her pregnancy, Mary who needs to get to Bethlehem by donkey, but the Star tries to carry her there. Unsure what to do she gives up till finally it is the wise men who need guiding.

Another happy twist is the presence of a real live baby. How wonderful he was too. The Angels looked after him very well while he waited his time to enter the scene.

The feelings around this time of the year vary, but our feelings of seeing the innocence of this play played out always leaves a smile on our faces, and this year we had our Bishop Barbara Andrews with us as our ministers Rev Debbie Scheepers and Rev Clive Scheepers are away on an urgent family matter.

Thanks to everyone who put their time and talent into making us feel like family here at St Michael's and All Angels. We certain are just that - all angels.
