Thank you Anglican Foundation!

Congratulations to St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in Prince George, British Columbia, on receiving a $5,000 grant from the Anglican Foundation of Canada toward restoration of its church and hall washrooms.

St. Michael’s is the only remaining Christian church presence in downtown Prince George and serves as a major community hub, welcoming an estimated 20,000 people each year. Its facilities are used by worshippers, 12-step groups, choirs, the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, interfaith gatherings, reconciliation programming, and community events throughout the year.

The church’s heavily used washrooms are now more than 30 years old and require urgent plumbing and flooring upgrades. The project will replace five toilets and a urinal, renew damaged flooring, and improve usability for an aging congregation and the many community groups who depend on the building.

This practical infrastructure project will help St. Michael’s continue offering a welcoming, reliable space for worship, recovery, music, community connection, and reconciliation in the heart of Prince George.
