Pride Sunday

Prince George Pride Week runs from June 26 through July 4. The actual "Pride Sunday," is today June 28, 2026.

The Rev. Deacon Karen celebrated a Morning Prayer Service at St. Michael's on this special Pride Sunday.

Deacon Karen spoke so movingly in her sermon about her beloved gay nephew who tragically died of HIV/Aids in the 1990's.

Some guests to our church from Ontario, with tears welling in their eyes, exclaimed how eloquent and touching Karen's sermon was. There were others in the congregation who were also in tears as her personal testimony unfolded.

The weave all the way through the fabric of Karen's sermon was about the unconditional and inclusive love of God, that we are called to practice in our everyday lives.
