On May 30th the PG Tapestry Choir concert, "Viva la Musica!" was received well by all who attended and it was very close to a sell out for both the 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. performances.

For the 2:00 p.m. concert we had 8 guests from Laurier Manor (Senior's home) and 6 guests from the Deaf Community. We were thrilled to offer these communities complimentary tickets. We listened to the requests from our Senior Guests last year and seated them so that they could see directly to the podium and the speaker - we also offered large print programs.

Also at the 2:00 p.m. concert, and again at the 7:00 p.m. performance, we had two language interpreters for the deaf, one interpreting the music, and the other, the spoken words. We have received much positive feedback from the Deaf Community about the inclusion of these language interpreters at the concerts.

Lighting was by Jon Russell, and Elder Darlene McIntosh offered the Land Acknowledgement and an Indigenous Blessing; and Shirley Babcock, a local Indigenous Artist, enhanced our concerts and encouraged people to attend. And of course, we were honored to have Jose Delgado-Guevera joining us on violin and viola.
