The parish of St. Peter's Monte Creek gathered for the start of a series of 100th Anniversary activities.
The first event was on April 26th. The community began the service with the bishop blessing the new paved pathway that will allow for ease of access into the church.
The parish acknowledged with gratitude the parishioners and businesses who contributed to this project, and the financial support of the Territory of the People and the Rufus Gibbs Trust for small projects in remote or outlying parishes that want to make improvements to their buildings.
This pathway eliminated steps going into the church, making it barrier-free and fully accessible to all.
