Territory of the People Anglican Church

Priest (full-time) for St. Peter, Williams Lake/St. Luke, Alexis Creek and St. Timothy, 100 Mile House

The Bishop of the Territory of the People is seeking to appoint an Incumbent in a full-time position for three rural parishes in the Central Interior of BC.

The position will involve a five-year commitment with worship services alternately in 100 Mile House and Williams Lake each Sunday, plus once a month in Alexis Creek.  A trained team of laity gives leadership when the Incumbent is in the other parish.

We seek a seminary trained, ordained priest who is a gifted leader and who will help members engage in a local collaborative ministry. The Incumbent will lead worship and sacramental ministry; visit and provide pastoral care as required; a key responsibility will involve the training, enabling, and support of parish lay leadership. The Incumbent will assist all congregations in deepening their faith and foster their understanding of mission to more fully realize their shared and individual baptismal vocations.

Clergy from the wider church, must present confirmation they are a priest in good standing and have their bishop’s permission to seek employment opportunities outside of their own diocese. A current Criminal Records Check must be submitted with the application.

Parish Profiles are available now. Applications should be made by 30 September 2019.

Interested clergy are invited to contact:
