Having had an amazing first celebration of the 100th Anniversary of St. Peter’s Monte Creek, with the dedication of the pathway, lychgate and the Snowden window, the congregation gathered in the parish hall where we experienced an amazing high tea lunch.

With beautifully decorated tables, fine china, servers bringing tea and coffee to the table, scrumptious sandwiches and dainties abounded! We were told that this was the kind of hospitality that the former St. Georges were known for.

It was a way of honouring the St. Georges community as we dedicated Stained-Glass windows and the lychgate. Several members of the former St. Georges community have since joined St. Peter’s, and their presence has been most welcomed!
