Dear Friends
This year has been extremely stressful for so many people with the COVID pandemic, the Heat Dome and the wildfires. The response from the wider Anglican Church for those effected by the wildfires has been nothing short of amazing.

Yet we are now faced with another disaster from the atmospheric river which has caused flooding and mudslides, damaging highways, impacting rail lines and supply chain, destroying homes and businesses, and forcing hundreds of residents to evacuate.    

Captain, The Rev Canon Isabel Healy Morrow who is the Incumbent for St. Michael's Anglican Church in Merritt has written some reflections regarding this disaster, which are attached to this news post.

The response from the wider Anglican church has been immediate, with many answering the call yet again with offers to send money to those who are impacted, and those affected and displaced. 

The Territory of the People has set up a “BC Disaster Fund” to distribute funds collected to those affected in the Territory.
