On May 23rd last Saturday’s, Prince George's Cantata Choir held its year end choral concert, Woodsmoke and Oranges. It was held at St. Michael's and All Angels and was unbelievably awesome. The church was packed with an enthusiastic audience. The music was all Canadian and Indigenous: there was a sixty-member choir with seven musicians and two marvelous dancers. Our spirits were lifted up to the Divine. In my mind, I thought I heard God saying “I am so well pleased with all these artists with their beautiful song, music and dance that my heart is filled to overflowing with joy and my feet are dancing.”
For those of you who could not make it, attached are a few photos of that event.
