Assembly 2026 – Quesnel BC May 29-31, 2026

With the theme “We Thrive for the Glory of God” before us, members of the Assembly gathered in Quesnel. We began at the church of St. John the Divine, where the Assembly opened with some preliminary housekeeping motions and a motion to change the bylaws to reduce the number of members required for the Coordinating Council. We then moved into Evening Prayer, where Bishop Clara offered her Address to the Assembly.

The evening ended with a social gathering in the parish Hall. On Saturday, the Assembly met in the conference room of the Billy Barker Hotel, where we spent the day. We enjoyed hearing from various guests, including our Companion Diocese of Montreal, Alongside Hope and Sorrento Centre. The assembly joined the parish for Sunday service and ended their time with a lovely lunch in the hall.
