Overnight vigil from 8pm
This evening will begin with the showing of The Passion of the Christ, a 2-hour movie, depicting the events from Gethsemane to Jesus’s death.
The movie will be shown on a large TV, but please note that it is spoken in Aramaic, Hebrew and Latin, with English subtitles. This in no way detracts from the movie, and I believe it adds to its atmosphere and authenticity.
Please also be aware that the movie is very authentic and contains scenes of torture and distress. Please see Fr Darren for further details.
You are welcome to stay in church for as long as you wish. It will be open all night.
