Celebration for Prince George Parishes

The Induction of Rev.George Westgate into his Ministry was celebrated  on Sept 21st 2023.
It was also live streamed and recorded for those not able to attend to also witness.

Rev. George is the new incumbent of both Grace Anglican Church and St Michael and All Angels Anglican
Church in Prince George B.C.

The Very Rev. Dr.Kyle Norman ( Kamloops) and Regional Dean  Rev. Jo Ann  Hinter (Williams Lake and 100 Mile House)  were also in attendance to
Celebrate George into the Territory of The Peoples most Northern Parish.
Karen Dougan was Minister of Lay Word and Sacrament.

About 50 members of both parishes came out to welcome George his wife Rev Ann Westgate along with  their two children Martha and Benjamin. The family moved from Quebec in May.

The service included members of both parishes bringing symbolic items to George in unison and 
ended with a cake and fellowship in King Hall. 

We were also treated to live music by members/musicians of the Sunday Street Church so truly a feeling of hope filled the evening. We look forward to working together to create an even more vibrant presence in our city with Rev. George and all Anglican family.
