An opportunity exists for a talented, energetic and creative musician to lead a worship music programme at a dynamic downtown church in Kamloops BC commencing May 1, 2019.
The St. Paul’s community is well described as: Joyful; Rooted; Hospitable; and Responsive. Our inclusive congregational life holds together a respect for Anglican tradition with at times courageous innovation. Congregational, choral and instrumental music assist us in a wide variety of worship styles and experiences.
The successful applicant will be well equipped to lead and support a ten-member choir in weekly anthems and other liturgical music. Both choir and congregation appreciate both contemporary and traditional styles of congregational music. Performance on piano and if it may be, organ will assist our new musician to work with other professional and amateur musicians within our congregation. The ability to recruit and engage new singers will be a priority. Finally, the successful applicant will work collegially with our Dean.
