The first annual general meeting of the Territory of the People Anglican Church went off without a hitch.

Now required by the BC Society Act the TOTP is required to have an assembly each and every year. So we will continue to meet in our usual large assemblies every two years and have a smaller though well advertised Annual General Meeting in other years.

The agenda for our recent AGM held in Kamloops April 27-28, 2018 was chaired by pastoral elder Amy Charlie. Those present received and endorsed a report from the auditor for the fiscal year 2017. We also received minutes from the 2017 assembly and agreed on some other procedural matters.

Our meeting lasted less than one hour.

In other matters before coordinating council which met immediately after, we received reports from the bishop, the deaneries, the administration committee, and from other individuals and bodies.

Following the Eucharist on Saturday morning we received and discussed a number of financial reports and related matters including Ministry Fund Grant allocation, fire fund money distribution, and a communications summer staff position.

Photographs attached include the executive from the TOTP AGM including Charon Spinks and Chief Janet Webster (Guest) and pastoral elder Amy Charlie (Lytton), Bishop Barbara and Margaret Mitchell, recording secretary, and a picture of the coordinating council itself. (The photographer is invisible)

Thanks everyone for your commitment to the administration of the TOTP.
